Do you fancy getting some training tips and advice from the experts?
Come along to our free training day that is open to everyone regardless of how far along you are in your training. It will be particularly useful to those tackling their first Adventure Race or last year’s newbies looking for tips to improve.
Location: Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh, Co Wicklow
Date: Saturday 24th March
Topics to be covered: Mandatory kit, race gear, bike options, race day routes and general advice to help your day.
What to bring: Bike, helmet, trail runners, food snacks and water
What to expect on the day
11:40 – Meet at the Brockagh Resource Centre in Laragh. Please ensure you have water, snacks, gear on and your bike in “race fit” condition.
The group will be split into beginners (challenge route) and intermediate (sport route). Warm clothes and extra layers will be necessary as the pace will be aimed to suit even the slowest participant.
Both groups will be lead by an experienced adventure racer who will be on hand to advise throughout the session.
12:00-14:00 – Run and cycle parts of the race day course.
15.00 – Post training debrief and Top Tips plus Q&A
