This adventure race, which entails running, cycling and kayaking – has routes to suit all levels of fitness from the seasoned adventure racer to the Quest first-timer. Choose from the 28km ‘Challenge’ route, the 43km ‘Sport’ route or the 79km ‘Expert’ route. Participants will experience the magnificent scenery of the mountains and valleys surrounding Kenmare as well as embracing the Wild Atlantic Way.

2. Enjoy a wonderful welcome and a great finish line event

Participants staying in Kenmare and its surround will be treated to some of the best hospitality in Ireland. The event will start and finish in Kenmare town which will guarantee a great atmosphere and superb facilities including hot food, hot tubs, recover zone, entertainment, finishers’ medal and exclusive Quest top for all cyclists.

3. Experience the Wild Atlantic Way

Embrace the unspoiled beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way and rugged coastline of the Beara Peninsula. This event boasts having Ireland’s most spectacular and breath-taking scenery around every corner. Those unfamiliar with areas on the course such as Gleninchiquin and Bonane are in for a real treat when they discover these hidden gems for the first time.

4. A great weekend away with friends.

Quest Kenmare is a great excuse to plan a weekend away with family and friends in Kenmare town. The idyllic town of Kenmare is a haven for pretty boutiques, fine restaurants, and excellent accommodation and is a mecca for the great outdoors. 5. Try something new for 2020

Step out of your comfort zone and try a new sport. You might be sporty – having played team sports like football, hurling, rugby, soccer, etc. over the years, or maybe you took up running or cycling as a way to keep fit, get outdoors and get some fresh air.
