Given the current pandemic infection rates in the community and ongoing restrictions on outdoor gatherings we are postponing Quest 12 Beara 2021. We hope to run the event at a later date this year subject to government regulations on outdoor gatherings and will be working hard in the meantime to make sure it is a safe and exciting day for you all.

Quest 12 Beara is a new, one-day individual unsupported adventure race across the uncharted territory of the Beara Peninsula in West Cork.
You will run across the Caha Mountains and the Beara way, cycle through the Healy Pass, along the Ring of Beara, and through the picturesque villages of Eyeries and Allihies. Kayak in Bantry Bay out to Bere Island and follow an ancient trail run around the island, before finishing on the shoreline of the famous fishing village of Castletownbere.

Total distance: 151.5km.
Total Elevation: 3297m

Please note this event will only go ahead if government regulations around Covid – 19 allow.

Quest Adventure Series has put together new untested routes for you to explore and test your mettle against the backdrop of the majestic Caha Mountains, Garnish, Dursey, and Bere Islands Route distance: 12 hours – 151.5km Please familiarise yourself with the route maps, race briefing document and the areas on the route where care must be taken.
