QUEST KENMARE – 07 MARCH 2020

Quest Kenmare is our newest and most exciting Quest destination. The route encompasses the amazing mountains of the Beara Peninsula and boutique charm of Kenmare Town.

Run, cycle and kayak across the spectacular mountains and valleys to challenge yourself in 2020.

RACE PACK COLLECTION

Race pack collection will take place in Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine, Railway road, Kenmare (V93 K580)
Friday, 6pm – 9pm.
Saturday 8:15am – 10am – Please note if you are collecting your race pack on Saturday morning you must collect it at least 1 hour before your wave start.
At registration please present the text message containing your race number which you will receive a few days before the race. If you do not receive a text please bring the e-mail confirmation you receive when you register online.

Wave 1:
 Expert 79km route  – 09.45
Wave 2: Expert 79km route – 10.00
Wave 3: Sport 44km route  – 09.15
Wave 4: Sport 44km route – 09.30
Wave 5: Sport 44km route – 10.30
Wave 6: Challenge 28km route  – 10.45
Wave 7: Challenge 28km route – 11.00 

 

ROUTE CUT OFFS
EXPERT ROUTE ONLY Transition 2 – You will not be allowed to start stage 4 run on Esk mountain after 1:30pm.  You will be directed straight onto the stage 5 cycle back to Kenmare.
SPORT ROUTE ONLY Transition 2 – You will not be allowed to start stage 2 run on Esk mountain after 12:50pm.  You will be directed straight onto the stage 3 cycle back to Kenmare.
CUT OFF Kayak stage closes at 3:30pm. You may continue onto the final run.
  All medical and event safety services will be stood down at 4:30pm.

* All the above cut off times are provisional based on finalisation of wave times closer to the event date.
